The4-pin ATX12V connector is rated to carry 192 watts, not 90. The 8-pin EPS12V adapter is rated for 336 watts. A 95-watt stock Athlon II X4 is not going to overwhelm a 4-pin connection, but a heavily overclocked Phenom II X6 might once you figure in VRM losses, which is why some AM3 boards have an 8-pin connector.

Themost commonly used trailer connectors in Australia are 5-pin, 7-pin and 12-pin plugs. The number of pins (the ‘male’ component) correspond with the number
mUXg. ExpertReply: It sounds like you have a 7-way blade connector on your boat trailer as that is a very common connector on boat styles. This connector has 6 pins around the outside of the connector and a center pin for a total of 7. Part # A7WCB would be what a 7-way would look like. If you had a 6-way it would look like part # PK11604 .

Basically 11 pins evens out the amp draw better than the 7 pins. Bit more efficient. If you are just building a basic, back to back neopixel strip blade then 7 pins is fine. (3 pins for negative, 3 pins for positive and 1 for data). If you were running 3 neopixel strips then you would probably need 11 pins.
Themore pins a CPU has, the more power it can receive. And, as you might have guessed, a 12-pin CPU can handle more power than an 8-pin one. So, if you’re a hardcore gamer or a power user, a 12-pin CPU is probably the way to go. It’ll give you more headroom for overclocking and will handle more demanding tasks with ease.
Iknow the 8 pin is for teh CPU but the 4 pin connector is a +12volt connector i tried to power on my own MOBO without it being connected and no luck it was a needed cord trust me i was even using a 750W power supply to boot. There's 12 pins connector on motherboard but power supply only has 8 pin.. Theme . Day Theme (Default) Night
